Internship Opportunity at TPC River's Bend

TPC River’s Bend is a private club just north of Cincinnati, Ohio and is managed by the PGA Tour.  Named by Golf Digest among the “Top 10 Best New Private Clubs in the U.S.” when it debuted in 2002, TPC River’s Bend has also been recognized as one of Ohio’s “Best Courses in State” by Golf Digest. The Arnold Palmer design is a par 72 playing just over 7100 yards with bentgrass greens, tees and fairways.  We are a certified Audubon sanctuary and we place an emphasis on excellent conditioning and environmental stewardship.

The Golf Course Maintenance Internship Program is designed to provide students with a practical, hands-on learning experience in golf course maintenance operations and agronomic plan management. The Program offers the candidate the opportunity to gain the supervised work experience necessary to become an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. TPC River’s Bend offers interns a great working environment, a challenging site to develop turfgrass management skills, and excellent opportunities to advance within the TPC Network of clubs nation-wide.
 

Educational Requirements:
Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a 2 or 4 year turfgrass management program.

Experience Requirements:
Basic knowledge of golf course maintenance and the game of golf.

Special Requirements:
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, grow and excel in the profession.
 
Date Available:
3/1/15 we will work around student’s academic schedule.

Salary Range:
$10-11/hr +OT DOE
