Phi Alpha Xi Initiation 2014

Twelve students were initiated into the Epsilon Chapter of Pi Alpha Xi (PAX), a national honorary and professional society for Horticulture at the Ohio State University Thursday evening, April 10, 2014. PAX recognizes junior and senior students with high scholastic achievement who demonstrate a strong interest in horticulture. Candidates also show promise for continued activity and commitment to the field of horticulture. (http://pax.ashs.org/)

Alumnus David Snodgrass delivered the Jack Williams Keynote Address that highlighted his professional and educational path and challenged the initiates to be open to new experiences and engage with the abundance of opportunities to learn and network available at Ohio State University. He is currently the Farm manager at Cleveland Crops (http://clevelandcrops.org). The initiates were welcomed by past and present members of PAX Epsilon Chapter.
