On-line Databases about Plants

Other useful on-line resources about landscape plants (most outside of OSU)

This database, the HCS234 PlantList, is organized around digital images of the plants you'll learn during the course. You can search for plants by the week of the course or by their scientific and common name. You should use this database for study and review.

An additional resource is the OSU PlantFacts system of horticultural resources, a source of vast amounts of on-line information about plants and horticulture. With a single click of the mouse you can search the database for publications, photos, videos, FAQ's, and a glossary.

The list below provides links that will take you to different places containing information about trees and shrubs (mostly). You may have to spend some time figuring out how to navigate through these sites, but they are rich in images and useful information.
