northgreens08.tripod.com/

My web site (northgreens08.tripod.com) was established for the home owner who may be stumped on some problems they may be facing in their lawn, and for the turfgrass manager who may be browsing for more information on diagnosing problems they may have run into. I have also provided information on irrigation, when to water, and how much to water. The web site also contains many pests problems that are involved with cool season grasses as well as some solutions to those problems. Since winterizing is a key part in how well your turf comes back in the spring I have included tips on how to get your lawn (or turf area) prepared for the winter. It doesn't have great detail on how to maintain a yard or golf course, but it might be enough information for one to solve a problem they might have or they could use my site to search the OSU horticulture page to find more detailed versions of what they are looking for.

The web site will help the common homeowner build a simple retaining wall. The site goes over wall material selection, materials needed to build a wall, how to prepare the site, how to build the wall, and some common reasons for wall failure. Included within the site are pictures to help illustrate the process and the formula to find out how much material you will need. This will all hopefully help the homer owner make their landscape beautiful.

For my project I created a web site to help and guide people with construction and maintenance for landscape ornamental ponds. My web site has some professional information as well as some information for the first-time pond construction. Anyone that is interested in pond construction could use ny information for their own ponds. I included sections on pond construction, maintenance, waterfall construction, winterizing your pond and choosing the correct size pump. I have links to other web sites that deal with ponds and sites that you can buy products to build your own pond. And that's my web site.

For my project I have developed a website that is used to inform the public on the key concepts on making hay. The website includes many pictures that shows the equipment needed for a farmer to make hay. The information that is used within the website, is information that I have obtained through experience and knowledge
obtained through my study at The Ohio State University. This is a simple website but is very informative and will help a person find the key points on making there own hay field. There are also links to many of the large equipment companies to help a person find the right equipment for there operation.

This site was constructed with the intent to help out the home owner who wants to be involved with their landscape.  It gives information on such aspects of gardening as maintenance, plant selection, design, incorporating color, and saving time and money.  The information presented in the site comes mainly from my own experience with plants and gardening and also what I have learned so far at The Ohio State University.  This site is very basic, but hopefully will help those who wish to garden become more aware of what plants are out there, how to plan and maintain a landscape, and will incourage home owners to become involved with their property.

The Landscape Industry has been suffering over the last decade in finding quality and dedicated laborers.  I suggest that the Industry tap into the resource of using H-2B Visa workers from hispanic counties.  I've found these workers to have good work ethic and the skills needed to perform the tasks with in the Landscape Industry with ease.  This website is designed to help Landscape Industry Owners and Employers to understand the process and requirements to obtain H2-B workers to carryout employment that otherwise can't be filled by local workers.

The intention of my web page was to give the average homeowner a source containing the basic resources needed for establishing a new lawn from seed in Central Ohio. Much of the information available provides broad instructions for areas as far North as Canada, and South to Florida, where I hoped to give instructions and links specific to Central Ohio. The elimination of unneeded information and the focus on key steps for establishing a lawn from seed in Central Ohio should create a more successful and fulfilling experience for the homeowner.

This web page is intended for design professionals who have a traditional design education that focuses on horticultural practices and design principles and processes. The site provides a brief explanation of ecology and explains necessary components within a designed ecosystem. Users of this site will gain a new frame of reference to build upon their current understanding of a landscape design.

My website is designed to help the average homeowner plant a tree. it goes through general things such as tree selection, equipment, site selection, actually planting the tree, and finally long term success. Planting a tree is a broad subject so this site does not give specific information just general ideas and help. It is a "how-to" site. The information is mostly based on my own knowledge from years of working in landscaping and what I hae researched. I hope this site is helpful for those desiring a beautifully planted tree.

This website was constructed for the beginning greenhouse grower. The option of the Quonset is giving to the new horticulture participant as the most efficient and easiest to maintain and build for the beginning grower. This website contains the information that is necessary for this new grower to understand the parameters that are necessary to build this type of greenhouse. Information is related to how to determine if this type of greenhouse is right for you, the type of materials that are used and where to purchase these materials. This website will help the new grower be able to have their own personal greenhouse.

Bryan Yosay

retainwall.tripod.com/

I have designed a web site that will help the common
homeowners build their own retaining walls; or they can hire a
contractor. My site covers the design types surrounding areas,
when do you need a wall, materials involved, drainage
necessities, and hiring contractors. This covers the basic types
of walls by looking at different pictures. There is some advice to
follow that will help in the long run. There are other sites that
are linked from mine that will help you calculate, pick a product,
or hire a safe contractor in your area. This site will help the
homeowner look at the job from many angles before tackling it.
