(participation includes turning assignments in on time, being to class on time, etc.)

Objectives:

1) Gain knowledge in how turfgrass plants respond to environmental and use stresses
     a. light
     b. temperature
     c. moisture
     d. traffic (wear and soil compaction)
2) Identify turfgrass management practices that minimize environmental stress
3) Understand the basic ecological concepts that govern turfgrass communities and how through management programs we effect turfgrass communities
