Philips, Henry 1780-1830 (approx)  

Philips was a "schoolmaster" in the vicinity of London. He was a Fellow of the Horticultural Society of London.

He wrote several interesting books between 1820 and 1830:

Pomarium Brittannicum; or a Historical and Botanical Account of Fruits Know in Great Britain (1820)
The History of Cultivated Vegetables (1822)
Sylva Florifeia, Its Shrubbery; Containing an Historical and Botanical Account of the Flowering Shrubs and Trees Which Now Ornament the Shrubbery, etc. (1823)
Flora Domestica or Portable Flower Garden (1823, 1827)
Flora Historica (1824)
