Description:
Most ornamental grasses require full sun for optimum growth and tolerate dry soils very well; however, the Sedges usually perform best in partial sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soils. 'Bowles Golden' retains its golden color throughout the summer if placed in partial sun; however, it slowly fades to chartreuse then light green (as shown here) if placed under more shady conditions.
