Description:
Yellowtwig Dogwoods provide an alternative to the Redtwig Dogwoods for winter stem color; however, 'Flaviramea' is less vigorous and more susceptible to stem canker, although rejuvenation pruning of established plants, coupled with fertilization and ground-level watering, greatly reduce its occurrence. Cornus alba 'Bud's Yellow' is a new introduction that reportedly is less susceptible to stem canker (also known as twig blight).
