Description:
The rare Franklin Tree has mid- to late summer flowers characterized by frilled white petals with orange-golden centers, similar to the more common Stewartias, another Tea Family member. Both genera of ornamental trees prefer evenly moist, acidic, organic soils in partial sun to partial shade.
