Description:
The Winter fruiting heads of Late Hydrangea (also known as Panicled Hydrangea) are the showy portions that will catch the Winter snow and bend over as a result. While they can be deadheaded at any time and used for dried arrangements, a convenient season to remove the fruiting heads is during Spring cleanup of the entire landscape. In addition, since Late Hydrangea blooms on new wood, it can be significantly pruned back in Spring to keep it under control.
