Description:
Yaku Shima Maiden Grass matures to four feet in foliage height, with another foot added during flowering and fruiting. The arching and fairly thin foliage is like a dwarf 'Gracillimus' while the August inflorescences are initially a mixture of gold and bronzy pink, but quickly change to a golden tan, then mature to tan fruiting heads.
