Description:
Each stem of a mature Purple Osier Willow is thin but contains many prominent, bullet-like floral buds that are parallel to the stem, and are evident upon close inspection in Winter. Although not shown, Weeping Purple Osier Willow is usually grafted onto a standard, to exhibit a weeping tree effect.
