Scientific Name:
Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation'

Family:
Sensation Common Lilac

Family:
Oleaceae

Description:
Sensation Common Lilac is appropriately named, in which its unique inflorescences, composed of four-petaled, large purple flowers that are edged with a crisp band of white, are just sensational. Fragrance is subdued, and of course Common Lilac reaches a large size and contracts powdery mildew every summer, but this new cultivar may be the one to procure if you obtain this species.
