Description:
Under the category of "there's no way this cultivar could be related to its parent", Rheingold Arborvitae is one of the best examples, having prickly awl foliage of an amber-orange to chartreuse color with a rounded growth habit. Best growth and color occurs in full sun in well-drained soils, and the evergreen shrub may slowly grow beyond its intended size and spacial restrictions.
