Description:
The hallmark feature of Harry Lauder's Walkingstick is its contorted branching, which is best displayed as a relatively unpruned specimen shrub that serves as a focal point. The only pruning that should be performed on this cultivar is the yearly removal of vertical rootstock suckers, and perhaps an occasional thinning of the interior canopy with its rubbing twigs.
