Award: $1,000 for sophomores, juniors, seniors, $500 for freshmen

Requirements
General: Preference is given to students with an interest in landscape horticulture, participation in cocurricular activities, including OSU, HCS, and the community, and financial need. The award will be made by The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association at the Ohio State University Short Course held in Janurary. Students must have completed an internship prior to January of the following year.
GPA: Not Considered
Rank: 2 scholarships awarded to sophomores, juniors, or seniors and 1 scholarship for freshmen (not awardable at this time)
Repeat Eligibility: A student may not receive this award more than once.

The ONLA/Phil Kozel Scholarship will be awarded annually by The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association at the Ohio State University Short Course held in Janurary in honor of late Dr. Kozel, OSU Landscape Horticulture Professor.
