Twelve students were initiated into the Epsilon Chapter of Pi Alpha Xi (PAX), a national honorary and professional society for Horticulture at the Ohio State University Thursday evening, April 10, 2014. PAX recognizes junior and senior students with high scholastic achievement who demonstrate a strong interest in horticulture. ARCHBOLD, Ohio - Vegetable crop and specialty fruit producers who want to learn more about the use of high and low tunnels can attend a workshop and farm tour April 24 held by educators from Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
The daylong workshop will feature small group discussions on the basics of integrating tunnel systems into fruit or vegetable operations, said Eric Richer, an Ohio State University Extension educator. OSU Extension is the outreach arm of the college.

WOOSTER, Ohio - A series of training sessions hosted by Ohio State University's Fruit and Vegetable Safety Program continues through May and possibly into June, before the growing season gets into full swing.
