OSU Chadwick Arboretum Tree Planting Team wins 1st Place!
The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum Tree Planting Team placed first in the tree planting competition in Arlington, Texas. The competition was held near the site of the College Football National Championship game.
HCS Faculty member Dr. Esther van der Knaap among the 2014 class of AAAS Fellows
Six Ohio State University faculty have been elected this year as Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Among them HCS' very own Dr. Esther van der Knaap!
HCS student, Jacoby Boren named second team Academic All-American!
Horticulture and Crop Science student, Jacoby Boren (#50) was named second team Academic All-American.
Two HCS Faculty members receive big grants in Plant Breeding!
Two Horticulture and Crop Science faculty members, Dr. David Francis and Dr. Clay Sneller, received two grants from the United States Department of Agriculture. The grants were part of the FY 2014 AFRI Plant Breeding Projects.

Experience OSU for a Day Hosts Needed
Do you enjoy sharing your passion for Ohio State with others? Would you be willing to show high school students what it is like to be a Buckeye? The "Experience OSU for a Day" (EOFD) Program allows prospective students to get a feel for what college is really like. These students visit CFAES frequently, and we are in need of volunteers to show these students around campus when they come to visit.
