Crop Production and Management

Although the culture of crops has changed greatly in recent years, improvements in production efficiency must continue if the world is to feed itself. Our crop production and management group initiates and directs the evolution of crop management systems to this purpose.

Economic and environmental stewardship is mandated throughout the development of hyperproductive crop management systems. Faculty and students in this area collaborate with pathologist, entomologists, chemists, engineers, and other scientists as they discover, develop, and teach the concepts needed for increased production efficiency.
