Appropriate plants for constructed landscapes.  Enhancement of woody plants (for example, Magnolia virginiana) for landscape use.  Development of  multimedia tools and on-line resources for enhanced learning.

Constructed Landscapes, Summer 2000, 2003, 2006. Program developed in conjuction with Myerscough
College, England.


GOALS FOR NEXT 5 YEARS:

Examine the reproductive strategies, the limitations and /opportunities for enhancement of desirable horticultural characteristics in Magnolia virginiana.


Expand the repertoire of distance education course offerings in Horticulture.
