INTERDISCIPLINARY INVOLVEMENT:
I am quite active in research, teaching and extension with the other turfgrass faculty in Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Natural Resources
INTERNATIONAL INVOLVEMENT:
Invited speaker to: Australia, China, Japan, Portugal, and United Kingdom. Involved with the OSU International Internship Program through encouraging undergraduate turfgrass students to intern internationally. Conversely, involved with providing educational programs for international turfgrass students currently interning here in the United States. In addition, currently on the Board of Directors for a chinese company that is publically traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
GOALS FOR NEXT 5 YEARS:
1. Contribute and to help enhance a strong Turfgrass Science Program through undergraduate and graduate education.
2. Continue and expand our effort in turfgrass physiology primarily looking at the effects of low light conditions on turfgrass growth.
