AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY IN EXTENSION,RESEARCH, TEACHING
I conduct experimental organic farming research work for the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science that is part of a multi-disciplinary research project. This project contributes to extension activities designed to help farmers and others apply research-based information by describing the pros and cons of various farming strategies. I participate in field, laboratory and controlled-environment studies for which I set up and operate laboratory facilities and equipment, collect, record and consolidate research data and prepare materials for study reports, presentations, and related documents.
