The Turfgrass Scholar Endowment was established to enhance the undergraduate turfgrass science program.  The endowment provides financial support for improving the learning environment for students through enhanced field laboratory experiences, field trips, and attracting prominent seminar lecturers.

In addition, the endowment supports the James B Beard Outstanding Senior in Turfgrass Science Award.  Long range goals of the endowment include attracting promising turfgrass students nationally and internationally to The Ohio State University.   These students will be bright-dedicated individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and whose family members are involved in the turfgrass profession.

If you are interested in contributing to the endowment, please make your checks payable to: The Ohio State University

Designate on the check or in a cover letter that the gift-in-kind is for the Turfgrass Scholar Endowment, account number 410129.
