What's that? Buckeye Turf Podcasts

It is with a great amount of excitement that we launch a new web site, Buckeye Turf Podcasts, comprised of Turfgrass Podcasts. Although Podcasts are not widely used in the industry, we believe over time they will be. Our podcasts are different from the traditional podcast in that they contain photos.

The idea behind the website is to present turfgrass topics pertinent to our students and industry clientele both in a learning and informational format. The topics range from cultural practices to pests, and include case studies and research reports. The podcasts run time is roughly 2 to 4 minutes, except for some of the research reports (surprise, surprise). Periodically new Podcasts will be added. In addition, many of the podcasts are also provided in Chinese, Polish, and Spanish.

At the Buckeye Turf Podcast website the most recent podcast appears first. However, all the podcasts are also categorized under given topics that can be found under the category heading along the right hand side of the page, along with other pages of information.

Multiple means exist for viewing the Turf Podcasts, either through the web site, iTunesĀ®, or other podcast viewers. Instructions exist in Buckeye Turf Podcast on how to download the presentations. Oh, and if you have an iPod for example with the video screen, you will be able to download them from iTunesĀ®. If you have a chance, take a look. You can get to the web site by clicking on the above Buckeye Turf Podcasts, or through SK Turfnotes, or directly by the web address: http://hcs.osu.edu/turf/podcast/

Note:Clicking on the links for the podcasts may initially be slow or delayed. For some reason, the initial link contact may need to be repeated.
