The Learning Resources Centre is a multipurpose building that houses a couple of different programs. The Landscape Practice group's offices, classrooms, and studio are located in this building. Above one can see the building (marked by arrow) next to the College's Administration Building. At right, the 2-story Learning Resource Centre is decked with abundant windows and skylights that provide the studio with a very bright and warm atmosphere. The Centre is at the heart of the central campus, close to the main reception building, the administration building, the cafeteria, and a short walk from the residence halls. The classrooms and studio in the building are very comfortable and appropriate for a variety of activities. This building served as the center of operations for the Study Abroad program where we met on a regular basis for lectures, discussions, and planning sessions for field trips and other activities. Below: the Learning Resource Centre viewed from the Parterre to the east (left) of the Administration building. Below, right: The north side of the building (right side) has nice specimen trees next to a small brook. |
