THE FOURTH OF JULY |
After a frustrating and fruitless search for fireworks (or even sparklers), a thorough search of ASDA for familiar goodies that were mostly available but in unfamiliar packaging, and a lot of help from Helen we got our barbecue going behind the Stumble Inn. |

Some people's natural role is to offer advice and guidance while others sweat over the job in hand. Most of us were forced to retreat to the shelter of the Stumble Inn by the onset of rain. The hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers kept coming along with chips, dips and salads until we had our fill. (Snooker aficianados might be appalled by our misuse of their tables.) Our evening seguéd into a general celebration of the end of term for Myerscough staff and students. Everyone, except Adam, had a good time. |
