Where do we go from here? |

Working in your allocated teams, you need to be on site and discuss various issues with your fellow peers. Do not at this stage have firmed up ideas. Keep an open mind on what possibilities the site has. Produce loose sketches of ideas and concepts. Do not be prescriptive about what you want. You are at a stage where you are open to a whole host of ideas/concepts. Do not restrict your thought processes with a regimented scenario. Be open to ideas. Survey the site using 30 metre tapes. Use the chainage offset method as explained. If you need help, just ask! As a team you eventually will provide a base plan drawing of the site as it is now with an overlay of how you as a team would like to see the site. You will also provide a visuals board explaining your idea and concepts. The visuals board would be made up of images from books/magazines/internet etc. It should clearly provide visual explanation of your design. Each team member should be directly involved in explaining their ideas. There will be one design chosen to build and palnt. All students shall get behind the chosen design and construct and plant. You have a tight time scale to get the job done. All students are expected to give 100% effort to ge the job done. You all have various skills, plant knowledge, construction, design. You must utilise these skills to maximise effort and produce high qulaity work. |
