Grizedale Forest

The Grizedale Forest Park is managed by the Forestry Commission. It is located amidst the Cumbrian Mountains and within the Lake District National Park. The Forestry Commission has often been criticized for its insensitive approach to reforestation in England. Grizedale attempts to balance economic forestry with aesthetic and recreational enjoyment of forest trails.
