Parting thoughts.......

.

Jason:

I must say that I was a little nervous about the trip, but I had a great time. The staff and students at Myerscough were very nice and made the program enjoyable. I would recommend this experience to everyone: it was a great mix of education and fun.

.

Carrie:

During my study-abroad trip to England I gained a new understanding of the ideal English garden. I saw some of the most beautiful and colorful gardens ever. I especially learned how to slow down and take things at a slower pace once in a while. This trip was one of the best learning experiences for my future

Greg:

The study abroad program in England really gave me much insight. It was good to see a different culture and lifestyle. It was also a excellent learning experience. There was a lot to do and to see. Go see Regent's Park in London. I do have some advice for those wanting to go on the next trip and that is to save lots of money because it is very expensive and "mind the gap!"

.

Lynn:

The 5 weeks in England were a wonderful experience. It was hard to be away from home and everything familiar, but well woth the time. I suggest to any students interested in studying abroad to jump on the chance. The gardens we visited were amazing. If you get the chance, visit Biddulph Grange in England and Powers Court in Ireland. After our time at Myerscough I have made many new friends and will miss them all, and our times at Tokyo Joes!

.

Heidi:

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when coming to Myerscough, but I went in with an open mind. After everything I have to say that my experience at Myerscough was excellent. I feel that I grew educationally, as well as personally. Vive L'Ecossais!!

Matt:

At the end of our journey and so many fantastic friends and memories I'm at a loss for words to express what a great time it has been. "Ready for some SoCo?"

.

Kim:

Some days went slow, but the weeks flew by during our stay at Myerscough College. Lots of friends made and lots of laughs laughed will be amongst my most favorite memories.

.

Rob:

I had a fantastic time in the UK! Everybody here was so reptive to "The Americans". Thanks to all in England for a great five weeks. "The Venga Bus" is coming!

Rob:

My experience at Myerscough has given me memories that will last a lifetime. The students gave us their friendship and the instructors their knowledge. The trip opened my eyes to another cutlture which has helped me understand the world better.

.

Dave:

With life-long friends and memories to look back on, it is hard to leave Myerscough College. I learned a lot and had a blast! "UK Yes, USA No!"

They've said nothing about the food, so it can't have been necessary to go in search of Big Macs and Pizza Hut after all. There were times when one or other of us despaired of completing our web work or the garden installation, but then we saw the American "Can Do" attitude in action and we hope you agree from the rest of the site that we achieved something beyoond the fun times that figure so largely in their memories.
