Why HCS?
We offer a small-department atmosphere and individual attention to students. Most majors work in department labs or research farms at some point during their degree program and gain valuable experience. Many become involved in research and present their work at university forums and professional meetings.
You can choose from a broad selection courses, with over 80 undergraduate-level courses in Sustainable Plant Systems and the PGM Major and hundreds of courses across CFAES and the university. In H&CS, class sizes are typically small, often 20-40 students. For introductory and general education courses, our class sizes range from 60-120 but typically include smaller labs or discussion groups. - View HCS course list
