Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Horticulture and Crop Science offers two majors: Sustainable Plant Systems and Professional Golf Management. 

Sustainable Plant Systems 

One Major: Four Specializations

Our Sustainable Plant Systems major has four specialization tracks that a student can follow. These specializations are designed to develop a deeper understanding of a specific field. Our specializations are listed below:

• Agronomy
• Horticulture
• Landscape Design & Management
• Turfgrass Science

Students choose one specialization to follow but all graduates of the Sustainable Plant Systems major will receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture.
 
 
 

Professional Golf Management 

What is Professional Golf Management? 

The Professional Golf Management degree program is a four and a half year college curriculum. It’s designed to prepare students for a successful career in the golf industry. A goal of this program is to assist students in becoming members of the Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA). Students will receive a Bachelor’s of Science degree after successful completion of this program.
