Final Presentation - What I Accomplished PDF Print E-mail

The final exam is an opportunity for you and your team to share your experiences and accomplishments from the Social Network assignment. This is not intended to be a listing of "what you did on the project."  Instead, the goal is to hear what you learned, what you achieved, what your developed and how successful you were on achieving your goals and objectives.

The presentation needs to include all in-class members of the team, except graduating seniors.  Each person needs to contribute to the  presentation by preparing a set of PowerPoint slides which depict their contributions to the project.  A single (overall) PowerPoint file needs to be delivered to Dr. Rhodus by 3:00 pm on Monday March 16th.  The exam will begin at 7:30 am on Tuesday March 17th.

No one will be admitted to the class after 7:30 am.

Additional Instructions:

Using PowerPoint software, please create a presentation that will serve as a visual tour of your Social Network website. Each slide should contain one or more images of your web site or portions of your web site. Annotating each slide capture with a circle or bold arrow is an excellent way to direct our attention to a specific portion of the screen. Adding an enlarged closeup view over an initial wide shot is also a good technique to help draw attention to what you are describing. Visual quality and design creativity is expected.

The number of slides you create is up to you. Begin each section of the talk with the person's name who is doing the talking.  The length of time allowed for your ENTIRE presentation is 5-7 minutes.  Divide the time equally among your team and do not repeat information already presented by another team member.  Speak clearly.  Each person will receive a grade for their contribution to the presentation, including slides and oral delivery.

Copy your team presentation to a USB drive and bring it to Dr. Rhodus before 3:00 pm March 16th. I will copy each presentation and return your disk or drive on Tuesday morning.

For assistance in developing your talk, review HW#4 and the PowerPoint Screen Capture Tutorial

An enhanced podcast file will be created from each presentation and added to the class network by Dr. Rhodus.  Good luck.
