Medicinal Plants

The objective of this course is to introduce plants that have medicinal uses, the active constituents in the plants, and their biological effects. This course highlights plants, and their biologically active constituents, that are utilized for ailments in various human body systems and discusses the scientific evidence that supports these functions. Prereq: Biology 1113.
