The OSU Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team

The OSU Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team is a collaborative group of faculty and extension educators who work to educate fruit and vegetable growers about the growing need for food safety planning on the farm.  Faculty and staff from HCS lead and coordinate the team to provide invaluable information to the Ohio Specialty Crop Industry on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPS) to insure Ohio growers are on the cusp of coming food safety regulations and remain sustainable viable businesses in the changing food industry.
