At the 2015 Horticulture and Crop Science research retreat, Bill Rolling was awarded first prize in the category of PhD Oral Presentation for his presentation entitled "Genome-wide association analysis of partial resistance to Phytophthora sojae in soybean plant introductions form the Republic of Korea."
Vivian Bernau was awarded first prize in the category of Poster Presentation for her poster entitled "Potential evapotranspiration (PET) estimators as a tool for indicating drought tolerance in chile peppers of southern Mexico."
