Congratulations to Tu Huynh and Christian Vargas-Garcia! They were each awarded a Ohio Soybean Council Graduate Scholarship for 2020-2021. There are three scholarships of up to $5,000 each.
The Ohio Soybean Council Foundation (OSC) mission is to ensure the future prosperity of the U.S. soybean industry. To achieve this goal, it is important that students understand the wide variety of opportunities available in this agricultural sector. The OSC scholarship support students at Ohio colleges and universities pursuing research and degree in one of the many academic fields that support the future of the soybean industry while participating in extracurricular events and other leadership enriching activities.
Applicants must be conducting research in:
- bioproducts
- biotechnology
- biobased materials
- bioengineering
- biopolymers
- or another related field
