The 2024 ASA-CSSA-SSSA International Annual Meeting was a success. We often refer to it as The Tri-Societies Meeting, since it's a combination of the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA).

The meeting provided valuable opportunities for HCS students, staff, and faculty who attended this fall. Check out some highlights from their experience...

SASES UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS

The meeting offers a diverse array of experiences specifically designed for undergraduate students through the Students of Agronomy, Soil & Environmental Sciences (SASES) program. SASES activities include networking events, technical sessions, and the crops judging showcase. This year, a group of our undergraduate students, whom are actively involved in the Crops and Soils Club, had the opportunity to attend the meeting and compete in the crops judging showcase.

Between the jam-packed sessions, there was also some down time to relax with friends both old and new - including going to a Spurs Game and on a Riverboat Cruise packed to the brim with HCS folks!
