I'm anticipating graduating sometime in 2029
Research Focus:
I plan to study the impact of resistance to Fusarium wilt in tomatoes on the structure of the wider plant microbiome. I am specifically interested in how mutualistic microbes with analogous effectors to those produced by Fusarium may be affected by race 2 and 3 resistance, and how that in turn may affect host fitness and fruit yield.
Why OSU?
OSU is a great school for agriculture, and the campus and town are beautiful. I am also really excited to work with Dr. Francis, and think I will be able to explore exactly the kinds of research questions I want to here.
