I'm anticipating graduating Spring 2025
Research Focus:
My research aims to evaluate corn's physiological, yield, and economic responses to a single/combination of management and input applications routinely marketed and used by farmers. With this project, I hope to provide a direct opportunity for Ohio corn farmers to improve their overall corn production while also maximizing the per-acre profitability and sustainability of their operations.
Why OSU?
As an agricultural scientist, I have a strong commitment to do research and help with extension in advancing corn management techniques to improve crop productivity and sustainability. And during an internship in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science under Dr. Osler Ortez’s supervision and advisement, I had the opportunity to learn about corn and alternative crops in Ohio and to understand research and extension dimensions in the agricultural contexts of the State of Ohio.
