My research will focus on evaluating how fertilizer inputs influence the effectiveness of plant growth-promoting bacteria in soilless floriculture systems. The goal is to identify conditions that produce high-quality plants compared to those grown with high fertility. Looking into how much nutrients can be reduced while still growing a high-quality crop when using PGPRs.
Why OSU?
Improving nutrient use efficiency in greenhouse production has always been a topic of interest for me. In Dr. Jones' lab, they focus on this by exploring the use of biostimulants on ornamental plants.
