Ever since joining OSU, I have worked as a Research Associate in the Weed Ecology Lab in Wooster HCS. I first worked with Dr. John Cardina, and then more recently with Dr. Doug Doohan. In both positions, I have managed their labs and research on various aspects of weed biology, ecology and control in conventional and organic systems. I also help with writing manuscripts and grant applications. Last fall, I split my position 50:50 between HCS and Secrest Arboretum, and serve in a newly created position, Outreach Coordinator, for the arboretum.
When did you start working for OSU?

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to cook, garden, hike and spend time in and with nature. I helped to create and continue to serve on the board of a nonprofit 501c3, the Friends of Wooster Memorial Park, which assists the City of Wooster manage Wooster Memorial Park, a 465-acre natural wooded recreation area 5 miles west of Wooster. My husband, Dan, and I also love to scuba dive when we get the chance.
