Dr. Andre Sbrissia

I am currently faculty at Santa Catarina State University, Southern Brazil. I came to OSU in July 2024 to study and better understand the ecology and management of biodiverse grasslands - natural or managed grassland systems that support a rich variety of plant species. This is part of an international project involving colleagues from Brazil, Argentina, Germany and United States. Here at OSU, I am connected with Dr. Marilia Chiavegato's lab, where I am collaborating on research projects focused on sustainable grazing management practices and grassland biodiversity.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy traveling. I also like to jogging and play tennis. I find joy spending time with my family and at booking stores, looking for good books. I love to read.
