I will be studying the phenotypic variation and inheritance of heat and drought tolerance, along with the physiological mechanisms underpinning these adaptations, in pepper.
Why OSU?
I chose OSU after learning about some of the work my PIs have done in an undergraduate genetics class at the University of Minnesota. After communicating with them about their research and learning more about the HCS program, OSU became my first choice graduate program (despite being a lifelong wolverine!).
