I'm anticipating graduating sometime in 2026
Research Focus:
My research focuses on the use of OMRI-approved organic fertilizer with soilless substrates in containerized hydroponic systems. Currently, we are working to find the best combination of organic fertilizers that will meet the nutritional needs of highwire tomato or cucumber plants. In the future, we hope to determine what OMRI-approved organic substrate works best with the fertilizer(s) and share our discoveries with CEA growers.
Why OSU?
I had the opportunity to work in Dr. Uttara Samarakoon’s lab as a Research Technician before applying to the graduate school. I enjoyed my work as a technician but wanted to learn more about the field! It was a very natural transition.
