I'm anticipating graduating Autumn 2024
Research Focus:
My research focuses on plant-microbe interactions using floriculture species as plant models. My project aims to identify bacteria that positively impact floriculture crops' quality and understand what factors influence their beneficial activity. I am focusing my selection on bacteria with the capability to increase nutrient availability and absorption as an alternative to reduce the use of fertilizers. I am also interested in the effect of biostimulants on the microbiome of crops species grown in soilless production systems.
Why OSU?
I have always been into greenhouse production and floriculture. I chose OSU because of its strong floriculture research program. At HCS-OSU, I found the best place to develop my career as a researcher working in floriculture crop improvement.
