Layne Connolly

Supporting research in Leah McHale’s and Kristin Mercer’s labs, specifically focused on evolutionary ecology of agricultural plants, soybean breading and genetics, and collecting and analyzing phenotypic and genetic data. I work both in the molecular lab, greenhouse, and field settings, assist with the preparation of manuscripts and publications, and provide training for undergraduate student employees.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to spend as much time outside as possible, riding my bike, running, hiking, playing tennis, or exploring new places. I also love to read, cook, and garden.
