I'm anticipating graduating sometime in 2024
Research Focus:
My graduate research at this moment consists of two main objectives: 1) Identify a QTL interaction in Glycine max L. using near-isogenic lines (NILs) with resistance introgressions for Phytophthora sojae and 2) Evaluate the nutritional profile of NIL's develop in different locations during the years 2015-2021.
Why OSU?
I decided to do my master's degree at OSU because it is a very high research focused university (R1) and I felt safe and supported by the financial aid (Fellowship) and amount of funds that HCS receives and offers to its students. Additionally, my background in plant pathology and food safety aligns with much of the research conducted in the HCS department.
