My research investigated how varying levels of water-stress influence: 1) critical period of weed control in corn production systems, 2) competitive effects of Amaranthus retroflexus and Chenopodium album on drought tolerant corn hybrids and 3) spider mite infestations from weeds and whether the selection of drought tolerant corn hybrids alters interactions. Currently, I am working as a research lead technician in weed ecology and management lab where I am assisting with research on biology, ecology and management of weedy plants in agricultural production systems.
