I'm anticipating graduating in Spring 2026!
Research Focus:
My research is focused on resistance to bacterial spot (Xanthomonas spp.) in processing tomatoes. We will be introgressing resistance genes from fresh market tomatoes, developing molecular markers for them, and creating populations to quantify their relative effects on disease resistance.
Why OSU?
I love research on the interface between plant pathology and breeding. Coming to OSU gave me the opportunity to study this and to be part of a community that has been very warm and friendly.
