My PhD research work is focused on evaluating productivity and sustainability metrics in multi-crop systems using field scale research in Ohio. We are studying the effects of crop production management factors such as crop rotation, nitrogen management, tillage practices, and cover crops
Why OSU?
O-H! I can give numerous reasons here for choosing OSU HCS, but the most important one is how greatly this department and OSU overall help Grad students to mold into a better version of themselves by providing an excellent environment to think independently yet execute the work as a team! Dr. Osler Ortez’s Lab is perfect for me to develop and express my ideas, learn from exceptional people, conduct critical research and prepare for my career development. And I can’t thank OSU enough for the great Grad Life experience so far! Proud to be a BUCKEYE!
